Over the years as the Practice has grown we have relocated from our original premises to larger, more centralised ones, ensuring that quality eyecare and quality eyewear is delivered in a friendly and comfortable environment.

David Bray

David heads the team at Matlock. Qualifying from London in 1971, David gained valuable experience with various practices in the Midlands area. Now, as a Dispensing consultant, he continues to use his knowledge and skills to achieve the highest standards in customer care and service, together with product quality and design.

David lives in Duffield and has two grown up daughters. Relaxation activities include golf, skiing and diving.

Laelia Burch: Optometrist

Laelia has worked with David for 32 years. She lives in Crich with her husband and has two grown up daughters. Her hobbies include walking and yoga.

Helen Oliveira: Optometrist

Helen has worked for David for 13 years. She lives in Derby with her Portuguese husband and son Lucio. Her hobbies include volleyball and swimming.

Mandy Fletcher: Clinical Assistant

Mandy has been with the company for 25 years. She lives in Matlock and is married with one son.

Marion Fern: Clinical Assistant

Marion lives in Wirksworth with her husband and has two sons. She has worked at the Practice for 12 years.

Lesley Parkinson: Contact Lens Practitioner

Lesley is a new member of the David Bray team. She lives in Derby and her hobbies include listening to live music, cooking and walking.
